Most everything we use comes from the natural world, including our cups, containers and spoons. We are dedicated to sustainable practices and environmentally responsible production.
Gelato and ice cream are similar in that they both are made with cream, milk, sugar, and air. However, gelato is creamier, smoother, and silkier, as well as denser and more elastic than ice cream. In the gelato making process, less air is incorporated while churning, achieving a creamier texture than traditional, American-style ice cream.
2 other key differences are the serving temperature and the amount of fat. Gelato is served warmer than ice cream, around 12F ( or -12C) which leaves your mouth less numb. This allows you to better taste the intense flavors. And gelato is made with more milk than cream, so it has less fat than ice cream, and is why the flavors are more intense.
We start with our very own base recipe, combine it with fresh flavors and the best local ingredients in our kitchens daily. We churn weekly to bring you the very best gelato in (at times) unconventional flavors.
With no artificial flavors, preservatives, off the shelf mixes, we make gelato the right way. Everything that goes in our gelato is made from scratch in our kitchen.
